Folding options:
- Roll fold — panels that roll in on each other — the panel that folds inside is made about 2mm narrower so it tucks in cleanly
- Z fold — three equal panels folded back and forth in a Z, so it opens out in one pull

Artwork: supply a print-ready PDF of the flat sheet — outside spread first, inside spread second — at A4 plus 3mm bleed all round, CMYK, 300dpi, fonts outlined or embedded. Keep text at least 4mm from every trim edge and fold. Plan your panels before you design: on a roll fold the cover, the back and the flap the reader sees first are not in the order you might expect — our template shows exactly where each one sits. Not sure your panels are in the right order? Send it anyway — every file gets a free check before print.

Zero-rating does not cover items designed to be written on or filled in — forms, order pads, or leaflets where the write-in area is more than a quarter of the item. We check every file, and if yours falls outside zero-rating we will tell you before print; if it only comes to light after despatch we will send a VAT-only invoice for the difference.
