Crowd Barrier Covers

Every barrier at an event is a flat rectangle facing a queue, and most of them are advertising nothing. A printed cover turns the lot into a run of signage — sponsor names down a finish straight, a bar list along a festival fence, a company name around a site compound. They tie on in seconds, come off just as fast, and fold away for the next one. They fit both fixed-leg and loose-leg barriers.

• Two barrier sizes: 2300mm and 2500mm. Jacket 2190 x 890mm or 2390 x 890mm; single-sided PVC 2100 x 820mm or 2300 x 820mm; fold-over PVC 1900 x 1740mm or 2100 x 1740mm
• Five materials: AirMesh, fabric mesh premium, display-stretch polyester, mesh PVC and standard PVC
• Two constructions: fabric jackets that slip over the barrier, and PVC graphics that either hang on the face or fold over the top
• Double-sided available as a DS jacket or as a fold-over PVC graphic — print two different designs at no extra artwork cost
• Eyelets included: 6 on a single-sided jacket, 12 on a double-sided jacket, 10–12 on flat PVC and 12 on a fold-over
• Secure with bungee ball ties or cable ties — bungees are kinder to the graphic if the covers are coming on and off repeatedly
• Replacement graphics available — re-sponsor the same barriers next season
• Free collection from our Winfrith unit, or tracked UK delivery
• Free prepress check on every order

Measure the barrier first. Crowd barriers come in 2300mm and 2500mm lengths and they look identical at a glance — a 2300mm cover on a 2500mm barrier will not reach. Measure one before ordering a set.

Which material? For anything outdoors for more than a weekend, or on an exposed site, use AirMesh or mesh PVC — a long run of solid PVC on barriers catches wind like a sail. Standard PVC is the cheapest option and fine for indoor or short sheltered use. Fabric mesh premium and display-stretch polyester give the best print quality and the tidiest fit, and are the pick where the covers appear in photographs or on broadcast.

Artwork templates — the same jacket template fits AirMesh, fabric mesh premium and display-stretch; the same PVC/banner template fits standard and mesh PVC. Artwork: print-ready PDF at the finished size for your chosen construction and barrier length, CMYK at 300dpi, fonts outlined or embedded, 25mm bleed all round. Keep names and logos well inside the edges — the hem takes a bite out of every side and the eyelets sit in it. On a fold-over graphic remember the top third wraps over the rail and is seen from above, not head on. If you are running several different sponsors across a set, name the files clearly and we will keep them in order.
