Fin Flags
The fin flag is the squarer, blockier cousin of the feather flag — the top edge runs straight up and the trailing edge drops vertically, so you get a bigger usable printing area and far less of your design lost to the curve. If you have got a logo that needs to sit square, or a lot of words to fit, this is the shape to pick.

Bases are ordered separately — see Flag Bases & Fixings for a ground spike or wall mount. Which one you need depends on whether you are going into soft ground or onto hard standing, so if you are not sure, tell us where it is going and we will specify it with the flag.
Which way does it face? A single-sided flag reads correctly from one side only; from behind you see the design reversed and faded through the fabric. Pick facing right or facing left to suit the direction people approach from. If it has to read properly from both directions, go double-sided.
Honest expectations: these are a marketing item, not a permanent structure. Take them down in strong wind, and in constant outdoor use expect a season or so before the colour and fabric start to go.
Artwork: print-ready PDF, CMYK, 300dpi at final size, fonts outlined or embedded. The shape is not a rectangle and the pole sleeve runs down the leading edge, so anything built to a plain rectangle will be cut through. Ask us for the fin flag template before you start — we have them in PDF, Illustrator, InDesign and EPS — and keep text well inside the safe area, because the fabric moves.
