Feather Flags
Feather flags are the cheapest way to be seen from the road. The curved pole holds the graphic taut so it still reads when there is no wind at all — unlike a traditional flag, which just hangs. Good for forecourts, open days, car parks, festival entrances and anywhere you need to pull people off a road into a car park.
- Medium — 3.15m overall height, 600 x 2600mm printed graphic area

- Double-sided is two layers of polyester with a block-out membrane between them, so neither side shows through the other

Bases are ordered separately. Ground spikes and straight wall mounts are on our Flag Bases & Fixings listing — a spike for grass and soft ground, a wall mount where there is nothing to spike into. On hard standing you want a cross base or a water-fillable base instead, and the right one depends on the height of the flag and how exposed the spot is; ring us on 01305 819 879 and we will specify it with the flag.
Which way does it face? Single-sided flags are printed on one face and read correctly from that side only; from behind you see the design reversed and faded through the fabric. Pick facing right or facing left to suit which way traffic approaches. If it needs to read properly from both directions, go double-sided.
Honest expectations: feather flags are stable up to about Beaufort 4 — 13 to 18mph. Above that, take them down; they are a marketing item, not a permanent structure. In constant outdoor use expect around six months before the colour and fabric start to go. Most people treat them as a season's worth of advertising, and at that price they earn it.

Artwork: print-ready PDF, CMYK, 300dpi at final size, fonts outlined or embedded. Build on the correct template below — the shape is not a plain rectangle and the pole sleeve runs down the leading edge, so anything built to a rectangle will be cut through. Keep text well inside the safe area; the fabric moves and the edges curve.
