The fold:
- Half fold — two equal halves, printed as a flat spread with the fold down the middle

Artwork: supply a print-ready PDF of the flat sheet — outside spread first, inside spread second — at A3 plus 3mm bleed all round, CMYK, 300dpi, fonts outlined or embedded. Keep text at least 4mm from every trim edge and fold. A4 is read at arm’s length on a table, so headlines can be bold and photographs can bleed off the edge for real impact. Not sure your panels are in the right order? Send it anyway — every file gets a free check before print.

Zero-rating does not cover items designed to be written on or filled in — forms, order pads, or leaflets where the write-in area is more than a quarter of the item. We check every file, and if yours falls outside zero-rating we will tell you before print; if it only comes to light after despatch we will send a VAT-only invoice for the difference.
