Artwork: please supply a print-ready PDF as 32 single pages in reading order — cover first, then page 2, page 3 and so on. Do not supply printer spreads or impositioned files; we impose them for you. Pages should be sized to your chosen finished size plus 3mm bleed, CMYK, 300dpi minimum, with fonts outlined or embedded. Keep text and logos at least 5mm inside the trim, with a little extra clearance in the spine area on inner pages. Bear in mind recycled stock has a slightly warmer, less bright white base than virgin paper — solid colours and photography will read very slightly softer than on bright white silk. VAT. Prices shown exclude VAT. Booklets of this kind are zero-rated printed matter, so there is no VAT to add — a laminated cover does not change that, because the item as a whole is a booklet. Zero-rating does not apply to items designed to be written on, so where the finished job falls outside zero-rating we reserve the right to apply VAT at the standard rate, and if this is identified after despatch we will issue a VAT-only invoice for the difference.
