Flag Bases & Fixings
Every flag we sell comes with its pole set and carry bag, but the base is always ordered separately — because the right one depends entirely on where the flag is going. This is where you pick it up.
- Metal ground spike — screws into grass, verges, soft ground and playing fields. The cheapest and most stable option if you have got soil to put it in.
- Straight wall mount — fixes to a wall, post or fence so the flag stands proud of the building. Good for shopfronts, industrial units and forecourt walls where there is nothing to spike into.
Both fit the feather, fin, blade and crest flag pole sets we supply.
On hard standing — tarmac, block paving, exhibition hall floors — you need a cross base or a water-fillable base instead, and which one depends on the height of the flag and how exposed the spot is. Those are not listed here because specifying the wrong one is how flags end up on the floor. Ring us on 01305 819 879 with the flag size and where it is going and we will get you the right base.
One base per flag. If you are ordering three flags you need three bases. Bases are reusable indefinitely, so if you are replacing a graphic on an existing flag you already have, you do not need to buy another.
