What is DTF Printing?

DTF stands for Direct to Film. The process uses specialised inks to print a design onto a film, which is then transferred to the clothing using heat, so the design bonds permanently to the fabric.

How Does DTF Printing Work?

DTF uses an inkjet printer with special textile inks that bond to fabric. A white layer is printed beneath the coloured ink, which is what allows the design to transfer cleanly onto virtually any colour of clothing, including dark garments.
